I have been traveling since before I can remember. My parents instilled in me a love of exploring and experiencing the world. I have traveled to 43 US States (lived in 7 of them) and 14 countries (lived in 3 of them)! Now that I have my own family, we live for getting out and seeing everything the world has to offer!
One of the advantages of growing up and travelling during the Digital Revolution, has been the ability to use so many forms of technology in so many places. I received my first film camera when I was 5 years old and haven't stopped taking pictures since then. My main subjects are landscapes and architecture. All pictures on this site are my own.
I have always been a fan of all genres of music and have been collecting albums since I was a young child. Once I had a respectable collection, I began making mixtapes for friends and playing mixes at school events and house parties. Since then I have gone all digital and have been DJing weddings, bars, and other events for more than a decade.
Beginning with mission trips in high school, to remote, impoverished areas of Latin America, helping those less fortunate than myself is in my core. Since then I have done peacekeeping and humanitarian aid missions with the US Army, as well as worked as a mentor in a wide array of settings. One of my drives in the UX field is understanding the needs and helping those in underserved and less fortunate areas.
